When it comes to overtaking Formula 1 wishes it was as competitive as Moto GP. You are likely to see more place changes in one race than you might see in a whole Formula 1 season. I'm not saying F1 is dull. Far from it! But things could be done differently.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand, Moto GP is setting up to get even more intense next year with 6 teams from Moto2 overcoming the first hurdle to get into the pinnacle of the sport. Differing from other more established teams they will be only fielding one bike each. Which is a good thing. The sport ain't cheep and it will give them time to get to grips with the arduous challenge ahead of them.
Another good thing about the new teams is they might be bringing new manufacturers with them. Names such as Aprilia, Norton, Kawasaki and BMW. I'm especially excited about Norton. Being a smaller company and only relaunching in 2008 they have a lot to prove. Being a sucker for underdogs I'm very interested in seeing how they do.
The names of the teams are Kiefer Racing, BQR/Blusens, Forward Racing, Marc VDS Racing, Interwetten Paddock GP and Speed Master.
With over 10 races to go in the current season there's still a lot of action to look forward to, but from the news above, next year is shaping up to be a cracker!
